Olive oil, honey and cinnamon cake

Bolo de mel açores quintal dos açores


  • 220 g of flour
  • 200 g of yellow sugar
  • 100 g of crushed nuts
  • 6 eggs
  • 1.2 dl milk
  • 0.5 dl olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 table spoon of baking yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • Oil for greasing
  • Flour for sprinkling


  1. Whip the eggs with the sugar, until a soft dough is obtained;
  2. Add the oil and milk, wrapping well. Sift the flour with the yeast and cinnamon, gently wrapping until well connected;
  3. Add the nuts and honey and wrap;
  4. Grease a pan with olive oil, sprinkle with flour and pour the dough;
  5. Place in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 35 minutes.
