Camembert puffs with Apple Jam
Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated puff pastry roll
- 1 camembert cheese (250g)
- Apple Jam (q.s.)
- Egg yolk for brushing
- Sesame seeds q.s. (optional)
Preparation
- Cut the puff pastry into strips about 4 cm wide and 12 cm long;
- Cut the cheese into pieces;
- At the end of each strand of the puff pastry put a piece of cheese and a little jam;
- Wrap in the puff pastry strip, rolling it so that it is tightly closed. Repeat until all ingredients are used up;
- Place the puffs on a tray lined with parchment paper and brush them with the mixed egg yolk;
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a hot oven (200ºC) until the dough is cooked and well puffed;
- Serve warm or at room temperature;
