Fried Blue Jack Mackerel with villain sauce

Ingredients

  • 1kg of blue Jack Mackerels (or small mackerel)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons of Dona Pimentinha Chilli pepper / ground pepper
  • Salt

For the sauce:

  • Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Dona Pimentinha Chilli pepper / ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato pulp
  • White wine

Preparation

  • After the mackerels are cleaned, season with salt, pepper and garlic.
  • Separate the yolk from the white of an egg and stir the yolk;
  • Wrap the mackerels one by one, in the yolk and then in the flour. Fry the mackerels;
  • For the sauce, place the garlic in the seasoning of the mackerels in a frying pan, 2 tablespoons of ground pepper, a drizzle of olive oil and the white wine;
  • Wait for the sauce to finish;
  • Serve the mackerels with the sauce and with boiled potatoes.
